Sterling Silver - Wax Castings

Each unique necklace pendant is created using the "lost wax casting" technique. 

The process begins by drawing your design on graph paper and carving the intricate details from a wax block.  Once this step is completed, the wax design is dipped into silicone mixture to create the mold. Molten metal is added into the reverse relief mold to create the 3-D version of the original wax design. 

The final steps are sanding, inserting stones (or crystals) and buffing to a low or high sheen effect. Each design comes with a beautiful chain.
