Welcome to the 2026 Christmas Ornaments Season and New Website Look!
The original theme was good, but it was time to spruce it up and give the website a new format, look and overall design.
September is when we release our new Christmas Ornaments and this year's designs are an eclectic mix of mythical, nature and abstract designs.
This year we've also added Handbags to our product line. We hope you are able to find your style amongst the carefully curated, affordable collection of classic designs.
I am often asked, “where do you get your beads from” and “how do you create your ornaments?” amongst a myriad of other questions. But let’s focus on these two questions.
We purchase beads from all over the world twice a year. We are typically drawn to the shape, color, texture and the uniqueness of the bead or object. The more unusual, the better, but only if it makes sense as an ornament component. We once used porcupine quills in an ornament. This probably wasn't a smart choice regarding safety, but it was a hit!
Our bead selection is quite extensive as you would imagine. Sometimes we focus on a theme or just let our imaginations guide us. The ornament build process begins with a focal bead or the center medallion. Then beads and components are added until the design takes shape. This sounds quick and easy which it can be except on those days when your creativity eludes you and nothing seems to work. Thankfully, this doesn’t happen too often, but when it does, it only lasts for a day.
Economically, the 2026 Holiday Season is going to be a challenge as we navigate the changing landscape and the tightening of discretionary dollars.
