Sterling Silver - Wax Castings

Each unique item was created using the "lost wax casting" technique.

The process begins by drawing your design on graph paper and gluing it to the wax block. After the design is cut from the wax block, the painstaking details are hand carved into the wax.

Once this step is completed, the wax design is dipped into silicone to create the mold. Molten metal is added into the silicone mold to create a 3-D version of the original wax design.

The final steps are sanding, inserting stones (or crystals) and buffing to a low or high sheen effect. Each design is completed with a beautiful chain.
